ExactTarget was the result. ExactTarget was founded in late 2000, quickly growing to a $11.5 million digital marketing automation company in its\u2019 second year. The ExactTarget Interactive Marketing Hub was released in 2010 after a redesign of its\u2019 user interface.<\/p>\n<p>ExactTarget filed for an IPO in 2007, but raised $145 million in funding and withdrew its filing two years later.In 2012 ExactTarget raised $161.5 million going to the Stock market, before being acquired by Salesforce for $2.5 billion in 2013. Companies acquired include CoTweet, Pardot, iGoDigital and Keymail Marketing.
